She said she broke free from the man and escaped the house as he told her he was considering taking her through a tunnel. She said she resisted his attempts at sexually assaulting her. Inside the bedroom, the woman said the man undressed her and tried to rape her. She said he was wearing rings as he punched her. She said she dropped her belongings at the front door and the man dragged her to a bedroom in the back of the house, continuing his assault. However, when he returned with the phone, the woman said the man attacked her, punching her multiple times. ![]() She said she waited by the front door while the man retrieved his phone from the kitchen. ![]() She said the man told her his phone was in his home and invited her inside, according to a probable cause affidavit filed with an warrant. She noticed a man she recognized from the neighborhood and asked to borrow his phone. Responding officers met with a woman who said she was in the 2600 block of Colgate Avenue about 9 a.m.
